ONE LITTLE DRUMMER
One little drummer, beating his drum,
Up-down, up-down, go his thumbs.
(Children clench their fists, with thumbs out.
Then they move their arms up and down.)
Two little drummers, beating their drums,
Up-down, up-down, go their thumbs.
(Same as above)
Jean Warren
Note: This can be just sung as counting as high as you have children, or you could also turn it into a movement activity, where children get in line behind each other, after each verse.

I’M A LITTLE CHOO-CHOO TRAIN
I’m a little choo-choo train, (Bend elbows)
Chugging down the track. (Push back and forth)
First, I’m going forward, (Chug forward)
Then I’m going back. (Turn around and chug back)
Hear my bell a-ringing. (Pretend to ring a bell and say “Ring-Ring”)
Hear my whistle blow. (Pretend to pull cord down and say “Woo-Woo”)
You can hear me coming, everywhere I go! (Chug back to where you started)

SNOWFLAKES FALLING DOWN
Tune: “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”
Snowflakes, snowflakes falling down,
See them falling on the ground.
See them landing here and there.
See them landing everywhere.
What a lovely winter sight,
When the world is colored white.

I LOVE TO LOOK AT THE LIGHTS
Tune: “My Bonnie Lies Over the Rainbow”
I love to look at the lights,
That sparkle and shine so bright.
I love to look at the lights,
That twinkle and glow in the night.
Lights, lights, lights, lights,
I love to look at the li-i-ights.
Lights, lights, lights, lights,
I love to look at the lights.

RING THE BELLS
Tune: “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”
Ring, ring, ring the bells,
Ring them loud and clear,
To say to people everywhere
That holiday time is here!

TWO LITTLE BELLS
Two little bells for all to see,
Ringing for you and ringing for me.
One rings high, one rings, low,
One rings fast, one rings slow.
Two little bells for all to see,
Ringing for you and ringing for me!

PRESENTS
Here are some presents,
Look and see,
Some for you
And some for me.
Long ones, short ones,
Tall ones too –
And a round one
Wrapped in blue.
