The Coloring Kids went to the zoo
And saw a sad, sad sight.
Everything in the zoo
Was colored the color of white.
This will not do, they both agreed.
Zoos should be bright and gay.
So they took out their crayons, markers and pens
And started to color away.
They colored the elephant
A wonderful gray
And they colored the lion
The color of hay.
They colored the parrot
A bright warm red
And the pigs they made pink
As they slept in their shed.
The bears they turned brown
And the alligators, green.
The horses stayed white
But they added a sheen.
Everyone cheered
As they rode out of sight.
The Coloring Kids
Had made everything bright!
