The Coloring Kids went to school
And were greeted with a sad, sad sight.
Everything they saw at school
Was colored the color of white.

This will not do, they both agreed.
School should be bright and gay.
So they took out their crayons, markers and pens
And started to color away.

They colored the wall a sunny yellow.
They colored the tables blue.
They colored the chairs a cherry red.
Then, they colored the shelves red, too.

They colored the desk of the teacher, brown.
They colored the chalkboard green.
They colored the cubbies purple and orange.
Wow! What a colorful scene.

Everyone cheered, when they went home that night.
The Coloring Kids had made everything bright!
