SILVER BELLS
Tune: “Jingle Bells”
Silver Bells, silver bells
Ring them loud and clear.
Silver Bells, silver bells
Bringing Christmas cheer.
Ring them high, ring them low,
Ring them ‘round and ‘round.
What a lovely time of year
When silver bells you hear.

I LOVE BELLS
Tune: “Three Blind Mice”
Bells, bells, bells,
I love bells,
All kinds of bells,
They’re so swell.
Some are small and “ting-a-ling”.
Some have handles that you swing.
Some are big, you strike to ring.
I love bells,
All kinds of bells.

CHRISTMAS BELLS Tune: “Oh, Christmas Tree”
O Christmas bells, O Christmas bells,
We love to hear you ringing.
O Christmas bells, O Christmas bells,
You make us feel like singing.
You sing to us of colored lights.
You sing to us of Christmas night.
O Christmas bells, O Christmas bells,
We love to hear you ringing.

TAP, TAP, TAP YOUR HAND
Tune: “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”
Tap, tap, tap your hand
With your bell today.
Tap the beat – of the song.
Tap your bell this way.
Tap, tap, tap your hand
With your bell today.
Let’s make music with our hands
Then put our bells away.
This song assumes that children are holding tapping bells
Or wearing bell mits. |
BELLS ARE RINGING Tune: “Frere Jacques”

LITTLE BELL Tune: “This Old Man”
(Children Ask)
Little bell, little bell
If we ask you will you tell,
Why you always seem to chime
When it’s close to Music Time?
(Bell Answers)
I can hear, the children sing
Then I know it’s time to ring.
With a ting-a-ling-a-ling, listen to me chime.
Can I join your Music Time?

COW BELLS Tune: “Down At The Station”

Standing in a row.
See the dairy farmer
Give each cow a bell.
So wherever they go
He can always tell.

Continue until everyone has been chosen and is walking around the outer circle ringing their bell. |

First bell ringer, ring your bell. (First child rings his bell.)
Two o’clock, all is well. (Move hands of clock to say two o’clock.)Second bell ringer, ring your bell. (Next child rings her bell.)
