Musical chairs, musical chairs.
Here we walk ‘round the musical chairs,
And then we all sit down!

At the end of the song, have each child sit down in the chair by which he or she is standing.

Have children hold hands and lean forwards and backwards as they sing the following song.

ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT
Tune:  “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”

Row, row, row the boat
Over the water blue.
First go forward, then go back
Together me and you.

Row, row, row the boat,
Singing as we go.
Going out over the waves
Rowing fast, then slow!

THEN BEAR WENT INTO THE WOODS
Have your children sit in a circle.
Choose one child to be the “Bear”

The bear went into the woods,
The bear went into the woods
And what do you think he/she found?

Bear chooses an item from the room and brings it back to the circle.
Everyone sings about what the Bear found.

The bear found a _________,
The bear found a__________,
The bear found a __________
In the woods today.
