BASEBALL HAT GAMES

You will need an assortment of baseball type hats for your children to use with these games.

CAP HUNT

  • Hide baseball caps around the room.
  • Have children take turns looking for a cap.
     

CAP TOSS

  • Give each child a small sponge ball.
  • Show them how to toss their ball into the air and try to catch it in their cap.

 
CAP TOSS (2).

  • Have children pair up with another child.
  • Have one child toss the ball to the other child, who tries to catch it in his cap.
     

CAP TOSS

  • Take a piece of string or yarn and make a line on the floor.
  • Have your children stand back four or so feet.
  • Let children take turns throwing their caps towards the line.
  • Whose cap can get the closest to the line?
  • Whose cap can land on the other side of the line?

 
BODY PARTS GAME

  • Have children stand in front of you wearing their caps.
  • When you name a body part, have the children place their cap on that part of their body.
  • Suggested body parts; Hand, Foot, Knee, Elbow, Nose.
