CARROT SALAD
4 grated carrots |
½ cup plain yogurt |
½ cup raisins |
¼ cup honey |
½ cup chopped walnuts |

Mix together and serve on a lettuce leaf.

SUNFLOWER SALAD
Place pineapple ring on top of a leaf of lettuce.
Add cottage cheese to the center of the ring.
Sprinkle shelled sunflower seeds on top of the cottage cheese.

BUTTERFLY SALAD
Place a lettuce leaf on a salad plate, then place a celery stick in the center of the lettuce.
Take two pineapple rings and cut them in two, placing two half rings on one side of the stick and two half rings on the other side of the celery stick to create a butterfly.
Fill the centers of the pineapple half rings with cottage cheese.
Add a couple of raisins on top of each cottage cheese section.

RABBIT SALAD
Grate 2-4 carrots and ½ small Hicama.
Pour on a small amount of Italian dressing.
Place on top of some chopped lettuce.

APPLE SALAD
Chop up 1-2 apples and 2-5 stalks of celery
Add raisins or chopped grapes
Make a simple dressing with 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise mixed with a little milk.

MELON BALL SALAD
Make cantaloupe, honey dew melon and watermelon ball with a ball scoop.
Mix the balls together and give some to your child on a small plate.

CHEESE AND MACARONI SALAD
Cook some macaroni according to package directions, set aside to cool.
Chop up some cheese squares.
Mix the macaroni, cheese squares and some thawed frozen peas in a bowl.
Add a small amount of mayonnaise to the salad for a dressing.

RAINBOW FRUIT SALAD
Set out on a platter, rows of different kinds of fruit in different colors.
Such as; red berries; small orange slices, banana slices, honey dew melon, blue berries and purple grapes.
