PANCAKE RECIPES


 

PIGS IN A BLANKET
You will need some short thin breakfast sausage for this breakfast treat.

  • Make small circular pancakes and some breakfast sausage.
  • Wrap the pancakes around the sausage to create a pig in a blanket.
     
PEANUTBUTTER PANCAKES

  • Mix up a regular batch of pancake mix.
  • Then blend in some peanut butter to your mix before cooking.
  • You could also just make regular pancakes and let your child pour some peanut butter syrup on top.  Mix regular syrup and some peanut butter to make peanut butter syrup.
 
POTATO CHEESE PANCAKES

These are great to have when celebrating Hannukah or anytime for a special treat.
Whip together 2 eggs and 2 tsp. milk.
Grate two large potatoes and ¼ cup of cheese.
Stir the potato, cheese and eggs together in a bowl.
Add l Tbsp. flour, plus salt and pepper to taste.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased, heated fry pan.
Fry until light brown on each side.
Makes 8-10 small pancakes.
 
APPLE PANCAKES
Here is a great harvest treat your children will love.
In a bowl, blend two cups of your favorite pancake mix, with one cup water and 1/2 cup apple juice.
Next, add one cup peeled and shredded Gala apples and 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Spoon pancake mix into greased fry pan.
Make four small pancakes at a time.
Flip pancakes over when browned.
Serve hot with your favorite syrup or apple butter.
 
SNOWMAN PANCAKES
Whip up your favorite pancake recipe.
Pour into hot greased pan two circles that connect with one another to make a two circled snowman.
Use M & M’s or blueberries to decorate.
 
CONFETTI PANCAKES
Whip up your favorite pancake recipe.
Add teeny tiny pieces of fresh or candied fruit.
Cook as normal.
Variation: Add some candied sprinkles to the pancake mix before cooking.
 
SNOWBALL PANCAKES
Make normal round pancakes, approximately 4” across.
Set on plate, squirt some whipped cream (from a can) onto each pancake.
Use a knife to spread the whipped cream across each pancake to make some pancake snowballs.
